Second meeting of TURKPA Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian to be held

Baku – APA. The second meeting of the TURKPA Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian issues will be held in Ankara today. The organization told APA that the second meeting will be held in the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey. The report and recommendation on “The main issues of creating a common Turkic terminology fund” will be discussed in the meeting.

Members of the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kytgyzstan and Turkey, and staff members of the TURKPA International Secretariat will participate at the meeting. At the same time, members of commission will make speech and exchange of views at the meeting.

At the same time, participation and speech of Mr. Gismat Gozalov, Deputy Secretary General of Turkic Council, Mr. Firat PURTAS, Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY, Mr. Mustafa Baskurt, Secretary General of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities, and Mr. Sherubai KURMANBAIULY, Deputy Head of the Committee on Languages, Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan are expected at the meeting.

Report and Recommendation on the main issues of creating a common Turkic terminology fund, are expected to be adopted and presented for adoption in the IV plenary session of TURKPA which will be held in Ankara in the current year. In addition, date, venue and agenda of the 3^rd Commission meeting will be determined.

At the same time, report on the issues of the implementation of the Bilge Korkyt educational program which was adopted in previous meeting will be presented by Mr. Garifolla Yesim, Chairman of the Commission on Social, Cultural and Humanitarian issues.
