Queen of Jordan to visit Azerbaijan

The Committee told APA that Queen Noor will also attend the Supreme meeting of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center and listen to the annual report.

The Queen and other members of the Center Ismail Serageldin, Federico Mayor Zaragoza, President of Latvia Vaira VÄ«Ä·e-Freiberga are the initiators of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and members of its High Level Group. Queen Noor has an important role in the promotion of the values and culture of the Eastern and Islamic world and women's activity. She is currently heading the Fund named after King Hussein. Her Majesty Queen Noor and former Prime Minister of the UK Lady Margaret Thatcher are the honorary co-chairs of the Center.

South Caucasus Forum is a significant international event that will be attended by more than 30 heads of state and government, 200 world-famous scholars, well-known policymakers. The Forum is supported by the Library of Alexandria, Fundacion de Paz, Club of Rome, Ganja city executive authority and other influential organizations.
