APA reports that informing about the draft law, chairman of International and Inter-parliamentary Relations Committee Samad Seyidov said that the draft law envisages creating the post of deputy ambassador at Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions abroad and equating the status of deputy ambassador with the status of consul general.
At the same time, according to the draft law the persons appointed as deputy ambassador, deputy permanent representative and consul general are to serve for 4 consecutive years.
The draft law was put to the vote and adopted
