APA reports that on the behalf of the Asian leading countries, Founding Chairman of ICAPP Jose de Venecia put forward at the meeting in Baku.
He noted that the initiative expresses the position of all the Asian countries and the establishment of the parliament will free these countries from the influence of other forces: “The Asian countries want to depend on themselves and alight on their feet and this requires a single parliament that will regulate our common legal base.”
He noted that Asia is going to become a leader in the international development. Deputy chairman of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmedov also supported the founding chairman’s initiative. The idea of establishing the Asian Parliament was welcomed by the other members of ICAPP and it said that the necessary works will be started soon.
