Eldar Ibrahimov: â€œWe call on some of our MPs to be careful in their speeches on Iranâ€

During the discussion of the current issues at today’s meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament, MP Eldar Ibrahimov spoke about their recent visit to Iran under the leadership of chairman of Caucasian Muslims Board, Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh, APA reports.

Ibrahimov spoke about their meetings held in this country and optimistic statements of Iranian officials on solving problems between the two countries.

He noted that the Iranian officials are also interested in the solution of problems and development of relations between the two countries: “Even at the meeting with Ali Larijani, they stressed the importance of your visit (the visit of speaker Ogtay Asadov). Iran’s President said that some want to stir up discord between us, it should be prevented. We also call on some of our MPs to be careful when choosing expressions in their speeches on Iran.”
