Ali Hasanov: â€œWe have one major condition in the relations with Germanyâ€

He said that historically Azerbaijan and Germany have had good relations: “We want to further continue our relations with Germany. Germany is one of the largest countries of Europe and plays a crucial role in the European Union, as well as the other European institutions. Germany's role is undeniable in leading the European countries out of the financial crisis. We recognize this role. But we have one major condition and demand in the relations with Europe and Germany, to take into account the national interests of Azerbaijan, support our country’s independent policy and respect the choice and will of our people. I consider that these principles don’t undermine our relations, on the contrary, with the same principles we respect the policies of the European countries.”
