Elmar Mammadyarov meets with U.S. Senator Bob Corker

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with U.S. Senator Bob Corker, the ministryâ€™s press service told APA. Expressing his satisfaction with his arrival in Baku within the framework of his regional visit to the South Caucasus and Central Asia, Senator said the aim of his visit was to analyse the opportunities for improving US-Azerbaijan relations and study the region closely.
Elmar Mammadyarov hailed U.S. senior officialsâ€™ visits to Azerbaijan and underlined that the visits contributed to deepening the relations between the countries.
The meeting focused on the current state and prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States in various spheres, energy issues, Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict, regional peace and stability.
