Azerbaijani servicemen to attend events in line with individual program signed by NATO and Azerbaijan

Baku â€“ APA. According to the individual program signed by NATO and Azerbaijan in Baku on November 19-22, experts on assistance to the Armed Forces in military training and education will meet within the framework of the Partnership for Peace program, Defense Ministryâ€™s press service told APA. Preliminary planning conference of Cooperative Lancer/Longbow 2009 exercise will be held in Izmir, Turkey on November 17-21. Chiefs of headquarters of Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council Military Committee will meet in Brussels, Belgium on November 19. Course of improved military terminology for teachers will take place in Budapest, Hungary on November 24 â€“ December 5.
In addition to the Partnership for Peace program, event on â€œInfectious diseases during emergency situationsâ€ will be held in Kiev, Ukraine on November 13-14. The main planning conference of MEDJEUR-2009 exercise will start today in Nis, Serbia. Working meeting in connection with bioterrorism will be held in Ankara, Turkey on November 13-14. â€œCourse for combating human traffickingâ€ and â€œCourse for combating homemade explosivesâ€ will take place on November 17-21. Planning conference of NATOâ€™s JMX 2009 exercise on crisis management will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria on November 19-25. Meeting on individual partnership program is expected to take place in Brussels, Belgium on November 26.
The 52nd World Military Boxing Championship will be held in Baku on November 21-30. Meetings on military air forces will be held in Bonn and Cologne, Germany on November 25-26. Representatives of Azerbaijani Armed Forces will attend the events.
