Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has today received Chief of the Turkish General Staff, Army General Ilker Basbug, the President’s press service told APA. The head of state underlined that friendship relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey covered all spheres and successful military cooperation had been established. The president noted that after his appointment Ilker Basbug first visited Azerbaijan and expressed his confidence that the visit would contribute to the achievements in military cooperation.
Ilker Basbug congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his reelection and expressed his confidence that Azerbaijan and Turkey, one nation, two states, would strengthen cooperation in all spheres, including military cooperation.
