Baku. Viktoriya Dementyeva - APA. “Georgia supports fair solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” Georgian political scientist Giya Khukhashvili said in the teleconference bridge in Baku, APA reports. He said the happenings in Georgia caused changes all over the world and gave an impetus to the dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“Russia is planning to estrange the United States from great political games. Moscow’s demonstrating active position in the process of the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict is connected with this,” he said.

Georgian political scientist Ramaz Sakvarelidze assessed Russia’s position in this issue differently.
“Turkey wanted to have an initiative in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, but Russia deprived Turkey of this initiative. “2+1” meeting shows Russia fears that Turkey will almost solve Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Moscow could solve this problem 20 years ago. Russia is keeping the South Caucasus under control with these conflicts and fears to lose this opportunity,” he said.
