Yerevan – APA. “Negotiations on the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict are based on three principles of the international law – not using force or threatening to use force, territorial integrity and people’s right of self-determination,” Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian told today the press conference, APA reports quoting Novosti-Armenia.
Underlining that the co-chairs always mention these principles, Edward Nalbandian said if one of the co-chairs speak about the principle of territorial integrity, it does not mean that the other principles are refused. The minister said it was not right to predict that the conflict would be solved within a few months. Such forecasts had been made before and did not come true. Edward Nalbandian said Armenia wanted the conflict to be solved, added that the negotiations were on important stage, the negotiations could accelerate after Russian President’s initiative to hold trilateral meeting.
