Member of European Parliament: â€œAzerbaijanâ€™s contribution is needed to put Nabucco project into practiceâ€

Tamara Grigoryeva â€“ APA. â€œThe election process in Azerbaijan was very calm,â€ said Bulgarian member of European Parliament Yevgeny Kirilov, who observed the presidential elections in Azerbaijan, APA reports quoting Bulgariaâ€™s Focus agency. He assessed the election as a progress on way to democracy.
â€œOf course, there are points to be criticized. But in general it is possible to speak about the improvement,â€ he said.
Yevgeny Kirilov underscored the importance of the stability in the country.
â€œAzerbaijan continues improving in the field of democracy and economy, strengthens its cooperation with Europe,â€ he said.
Underlining Azerbaijanâ€™s important role in Nabucco project Bulgarian politician said Azerbaijanâ€™s contribution was needed to put the project into practice.
