Azerbaijani Interior Minister Ramil Usubov leaves for Sochi to attend the CIS Interior Ministers Council

Baku. Lachin Sultanovaâ€“APA. CIS Interior Ministers Council will discuss at its meeting in Sochi on October 23 the combating criminal auto-business, Press Service of the CIS Executive Committee told APA. The ministers will discuss criminal auto business, as well as misappropriating of heavy-tonnage vehicles for criminal purposes. Analysis of the transportation routes of hijacking cars in Russia shows that in many cases those cars are sent to the Eastern Europe via Baltic countries, Belarus and Ukraine and via same route the cars hijacking in Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Poland are transported to the CIS countries. More than 2000 cars hijacking in other countries were fixed in Russia only in 2005-2007. This figure is above 700 in Ukraine. The Council will pass decision about the measures to be taken for combating of such crimes. Azerbaijani Interior Minister Ramil Usubov left for Sochi to attend the event.
