Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev said it at the press conference in Yerevan, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.

“I am hopeful that the three presidents will meet soon. I suppose the meeting will take place in Russia,” Medvedev said.

Russian President said that the August happenings in South Ossetia once more showed the importance of solving any complicated problem basing on international principles and through negotiations.
“There is no other variant that may produce positive results,” he said.

Taking a stance on the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict Dmitry Medvedev said there was an improvement in the negotiations and both parties stated that there were going to continue the discussions. Armenian President Serge Sarkisian also said Armenia was ready to continue the negotiations on “Madrid principles” enabling Nagorno Karabakh to achieve its self-determination.
“We are sure that the problem can be solved basing on compromise and through negotiations,” he said.
