President Ilham Aliyev receives outgoing Belgiumâ€™s Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Baku â€“ APA. President Ilham Aliyev has received outgoing ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Azerbaijan Frank Girkens. Presidentâ€™s press service told APA that Ambassador congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his victory in the elections.

Expressing his gratitude for the congratulation president underlined that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kingdom of Belgium were developing successfully. The head of state said the cooperation was good in various spheres and noted that opening of Belgiumâ€™s embassy in Baku was important for the expansion of relations.

Underlining Ambassador Frank Girkensâ€™ activity in strengthening of bilateral relations the head of state expressed his confidence that Azerbaijan-Belgium relations would further extend.
