Baku. Victoria Dementyeva–APA. “Hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis forcibly leaving their homeland in Nagorno Karabakh are living under the poor conditions in the central part of Azerbaijan, but there are no refugees in Armenia”, said analyst of Russian First Channel Maxim Shevchenko during the Baku-Moscow teleconference, APA reports. He said hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijani refugees returning to their homeland should be a priority issue of the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. “I cannot see that Azerbaijani side will go to dialogue with the Armenian authorities of Nagorno Karabakh subordinated to Armenia before this problem is resolved”. Underlining wide economic and trade relations between Armenia and Iran, Shevchenko said that he considered idea that Yerevan is in the full economic blockade as groundless. “Besides it a large Armenian Diaspora is also showing financial assistance to Armenia, but Azerbaijan has no such opportunities because it is in the hard post-war conditions”.
