Matthew Bryza: “If Azerbaijan and Armenia sign an agreement, this document will need in additional principlesâ€

“There are certain difficulties in the relations with Russia, but I think these difficulties will be overcome when Moscow starts to fulfill its agreement with Georgian Presidentâ€. Mr. Bryza said he visited Baku to discuss settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and energy issues and to specify the meeting of foreign ministers in New York. Touching upon the Turkey’s role in the process of conflict settlement, the co-chair said he discussed this issue in Ankara. “Friends in Ankara told me that they intended to support the OSCE Minsk Group’s activity. Turkey can contribute to this process and to assist Armenia to keep more flexible positionâ€. The American co-chair once again stated that they advocated for the solution to the conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. “If the sides sign an agreement, this document will need in the additional principlesâ€.
