Islam Karimov visited Heydar Aliyev’s grave, Martyrs’ Alley and Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Baku – APA. President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, who is on official visit to Azerbaijan, visited Heydar Aliyev’s grave in Honor Alley on September 12. President’s press service told APA that Islam Karimov also laid wreath on the grave of academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Following this, Uzbekistan’s President visited Martyrs’ Alley. He laud wreath before the monument “Eternal flameâ€.
Uzbekistan’s President has also visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation today. Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev gave information about the goals of the Foundation, exhibits taken from Heydar Aliyev’s personal archive.
Islam Karimov acquainted with the documents describing various periods of Heydar Aliyev’s life, gifts presented to him by the world’s famous politicians, books devoted to the national leader, views of famous scientists, culture and art figures about the founder of independent Azerbaijan and looked at the photos taken at the meetings with various world leaders.
Keepsake was presented to President Islam Karimov.
