President Ilham Aliyev receives credentials of new ambassadors of Cuba and Egypt to Azerbaijan

Baku-APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received credentials of newly-appointed Cuban Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marcelo Caballero Torres on September 10, the President’s Press Service told APA.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that there occurred good prospects for development of bilateral relations between Cuba and Azerbaijan and attached an importance of further development of relations with the help of activity of Cuban diplomatic representation in Baku. The President expressed his confidence that relations would be strengthened during diplomatic mission of the ambassador in Azerbaijan.
Mr. Torres stated that he bore great responsibility in terms of expanding relations between the two countries as the first Ambassador, who functions in Cuban diplomatic representation in Baku. The Ambassador assured the President that he would do his best for further expansion of mutual cooperation during his activity in Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev has also received credentials of newly-appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sabir Adbulgadir Mansur. The President stated that bilateral relations, as well as cooperation on economy and policy developed successfully. He hoped for further expansion of relations between the two countries during diplomatic mission of the new Ambassador to our country.
The Ambassador noted that the two nations had same values and culture and bilateral relations had developed in all fields. The Ambassador stressed that he made efforts to expand current friendly relations between the two countries.
