Speaker of Hungarian Parliament arrives in Azerbaijan

Baku. Tamara Grigoryeva–APA. Speaker of Hungarian Parliament Katalin Szili has paid an official visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports.
Szili visited Alley of Honor and Alley of Martyrs. Afterwards, the delegation led by Szili had meetings at the Parliament. Hungarian Speaker briefed journalists about her first visit to Azerbaijan. To her, Hungary highly assesses relations with Azerbaijan, as well as the country’s integration into European Union.
“Multilateral relations tie Azerbaijan and Hungary and my visit to Baku is only one of the mutual visit programs. I want to demonstrate my respect to your country and how we attach importance to the cooperation with Azerbaijan,†she said. Szili stressed that discussions would be conducted on situation in the region, security and energy issues during the meeting.
