Abulfas Garayev: Projects will be prepared for reconstruction of theaters in line with modern standards

â€?Presidentâ€™s Executive Order will give impetus to strengthen theaterâ€™s revival and reconstruction. The Executive Order covers issues on reconstruction and establishing studios for training special actors. We will see the formation of modern theater structure and theater idea in three years,â€? Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev told the APA.
The minister said that projects will be prepared for reconstruction of theaters in line with modern standards.
â€œAzerbaijani and foreign specialists will be involved in the reconstruction of the theaters. French architects and restores are invited for reconstruction of State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater and the final variant of the project is ready. An Austrian company will supply the State Academic National Drama Theater and State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater with necessary equipment. Young Spectatorsâ€™ Theater, Puppet Theater and Russian Drama Theater are being reconstructed and we hope that the work will be finished until the middle of 2008. Reconstruction in National Drama and Opera theaters will start at the end of the season. The project on the reconstruction of Heydar Aliyev Palace will be ready in three months and the work will start after that,â€? the minister said.
The minister said the government will allocate AZN25m for the reconstruction of the theaters. /APA/
