Azerbaijani FM meets his Israeli counterpart

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov met with Israeli FM Avigdor Lieberman, who is on an official visit to the country. Press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told APA that during the meetings they noted the successful development of relations between the countries in various spheres.
Lieberman noted Azerbaijan’s economic development and underlined the importance of further strengthening of relations in various spheres.
The sides noted the importance of extension of contractual basis between Azerbaijan and Israel. Lieberman expressed satisfaction with seeing Azerbaijan in UN Security Council and underlined the further deepening of cooperation within the international organizations.
Mammadyarov informed his counterpart on Nagorno Karabakh conflict and steps taken towards its peaceful settlement.
They exchanged view on several issues of mutual interest.
