Samad Seyidov calls on Armenian delegation to PACE to participate in talks

Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov highly appreciated the initiative of PACE President Jean-Claude Mignon to organize meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian delegations.

â€œMr. President, You have put forward an initiative to organize the meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian delegations at the Assembly. Being Azerbaijanâ€™s delegation to PACE, we support such meetings, discussions with the Armenian delegation regarding Nagorno Karabakh. Unfortunately, the Armenian side has been avoiding these meetings for two years. Taking into account the initiative put forward by PACE President, I consider that we can reset the format of the negotiations that will be in the interests of Azerbaijanis, Armenians and the Council of Europe. We must do our best to find the ways of solution of this conflict. I call on the Armenian side to participate in these talks,â€ he said.
