Answering APA Europe correspondent’s question about the reestablishment and future activity of the PACE Subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh, PACE President said the Bureau had not passed a decision about it yet.
“I can only say that I am going to meet with the heads of the Azerbaijani and Armenian delegations to PACE, this is my own initiative. We will thoroughly discuss the future activity of this committee,†he said.
He said due to the parliamentary elections in Armenia, Armenian delegation failed to attend the spring session, therefore, the meetings will be held with the heads of the delegations during the June session.
PACE President said he is going to meet with some diplomats of the OSCE Minsk Group, especially with the French co-chair.
“We will discuss the recent situation regarding Nagorno Karabakh,†he said.
