Ambassador Dashgin Shikarov presents his credentials to President of Afghanistan - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Ambassador conveyed the greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to President of Afghanistan, invited him on behalf of the president to the Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Baku in October, 2012.

Dashgin Shikarov informed President of Afghanistan about the steps taken towards peaceful resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, economic and social reforms carried out in the country, activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, humanitarian projects realized on the initiative and under the leadership of the President of the Foundation â€“ First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

President Hamid Karzai asked Ambassador to convey his greetings to Azerbaijanâ€™s President, accepted the invitation to attend the summit of ECO with great pleasure. Hamid Karzai said he strongly supports Azerbaijanâ€™s position in the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, underlined that the support will be continued.

Ambassador Dashgin Shikarov also met with the Azerbaijani peacekeepers in Afghanistan. Ambassador also visited Heydar Aliyev Museum established by our peacekeepers.

Ambassador visited Avicenna childrenâ€™s home in Kabul, presented humanitarian aid on behalf of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
