Vladimir Lytvyn: â€œWe are very interested in the energy cooperation with Azerbaijanâ€

We are also interested in achieving delivery of energy resources and cooperating in gas sphere, because we need to have a guaranteed gas supply, and secondly this gas must be purchased by reasoned acceptable price, said Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Lytvyn at the briefing held after his meeting with Chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov, APA reports.

He noted that both countries must work hard to achieve this goal: â€œIf you approach the issue on liquefied gas supplies to Ukraine from a practical point of view, we must build a plant in Georgia. Besides, it is necessary to construct corresponding plant in Ukraine for this gas supply. If we start now, we can carry out these works within 5 years.â€

Vladimir Lytvyn said that, Ukraine is interested in the project of TANAR: â€œIt is clear that we must offer our capabilities here and show the advantages of cooperation with Ukraine in this sphere.â€
