He said that EU was functioning in Azerbaijan to support the country: “I got acquainted with the statement of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry supporting the resolution of European Parliament adopted on April 18. We approach positively to Azerbaijan, but Azerbaijan must make advances towards it too. We can’t continue the support without seeing the response reaction. It was also reflected in the principle sounded by EU Commissioner Stefan Fule. We are ready to do many things for Azerbaijan, but this principle means that it is important for Azerbaijan to make efforts tooâ€.
The ambassador underlined that EU was open for dialogue with Azerbaijan.
