The Head of the State noted that Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of UN Security Council will be for the first time in the history. “Azerbaijan will chair the biggest, most competent and important body of the worldâ€, said President of Azerbaijan.
The president said that Azerbaijan will support international law and justice at the UN Security Council. “Our position is fair and based on independent policy of our state. We are defending and will defend justice. Azerbaijan differs for its principle and position since the first days. We have never hidden our position and we will not, because our position based on justice,†said President Ilham Aliyev.
The President also noted that, Azerbaijan was represented successfully in Davos Economic Forum, Munich Security Conference and Nuclear Security Summit in Korea.
Azerbaijan will chair UN Security Council from next month
