The visit will finish on April 22.
A series of bilateral meetings will be held during the visit. Khalafov will meet with David Landers, General Manager at Australian Trade Commission, Dennis Richardson, Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Martin Ferguson, Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism.
The issues of bilateral cooperation between Australia and Azerbaijan, trade and investment, as well as humanitarian issues will be discussed at the meetings.
Khalafov will be in three cities of Australia - Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne.
