Council of Europe to discuss fulfillment of Azerbaijan’s commitments in next winter session

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. January, 2013, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will probably hold discussions on fulfillment of commitments undertaken by Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe, head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov told journalists, APA reports.
According to Seyidov, the co-rapporteurs will arrive in Azerbaijan in June to make a corresponding report.
“We fulfilled all commitments we undertook. Two commitments are remaining. The first one is related to alternative service. The second one is Nagorno Karabakh issue. These issues are connected with each other. The issue of alternative service can appear on agenda only after the conflict ends. Nagorno Karabakh is not only Azerbaijan’s commitment, but it is Armenia’s commitment too. Armenia doesn’t pay attention deliberately to the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflictâ€, underlined Seyidov.
According to MP, the monitoring level will finish and pass into post-monitoring level after settlement of both issues.
