“We want this benefit to be mutual, and EU citizens wishing to visit Azerbaijan in the "Eurovision" contest, to get a visa easilyâ€, Head of EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia told, APA reports. He also noted that Azerbaijan attached great importance to the “Eurovision†song contest. According to him, the rules of the visa facilitation will be primarily applied to the EU countries which have close relations with Azerbaijan in educational and cultural spheres.
The first round of the negotiations on visa facilitation of between Azerbaijan and the EU will be held on March 1-2 in Baku.
