Ambassador: I have been entrusted with a special task by Indonesian President to improve the economic cooperation with Azerbaijan

Noting successful development of the political relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia, the Head of State underlined the importance of mutual support in the international organizations.

President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan opened embassy in Indonesia several years ago and noted that opening of Indonesian embassy in Baku will enhance the cooperation more. The Head of State said there are good opportunities to improve the relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia in the spheres of economy, investments, joint projects and trade. President underlined the importance of the diplomatic activity of Raden Prayono Atiyanto as the first Indonesian Ambassador to Azerbaijan and wished him success.

Ambassador said his country is interested in the enhancement of friendship and cooperation with Azerbaijan. Expressing satisfaction with the level of the political relations between the two countries, the diplomat said he had been entrusted with a special task by Indonesian President to improve the economic cooperation with Azerbaijan.
