Lefort told journalists that during his visit he would discuss the results of trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Armenian and Russian presidents held in Sochi on January 23. He welcomed the holding of such meetings for the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
During his visit Lefort will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
Lefort also visited Azerbaijan in September and November after appointment to the post European Union’s Special Representative for South Caucasus.
