Russian ambassador: It is the right of this sovereign country to include Sergey Buntman into the persona non grata list in Azerbaijan

Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin commented on the views of editor-in-chief of Echo of Moscow radio station Alexey Venediktov about the visit of his assistant Sergey Buntman to the occupied Azerbaijani territories, APA reports. Ambassador said Venediktov represents independent media, thatâ€™s why he is free to express his views.
â€œBut one should think about the results of his actions. Venediktovâ€™s words are the result of the absolute freedom given to the press. He is the editor-in-chief of an independent information agency and considers that he can do whatever he wants. But freedom at the same time means responsibility and respect to othersâ€™ rights. I can not forbid Venediktov to make such statements. But I want to say that he must understand that any action may have certain results. He must know what it may result in,â€ he said.

Vladimir Dorokhin noted that it is the right of this sovereign country to include Sergey Buntman into the persona non grata list in Azerbaijan.
Sergey Buntman visited Nagorno Karabakh without the permission of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, therefore he was included into the persona non grata list.
