Türkiye will continue cooperating with U.S. President Donald Trump to strengthen Türkiye-U.S. relations, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, APA's Istanbul bureau reports.
Speaking after a Cabinet meeting, the Turkish leader said he welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump's official visit to Türkiye on the sidelines of the 36th NATO Leaders Summit, describing it as a landmark event as it marked the first visit by a U.S. president to Türkiye in 17 years.
"We will continue working together with Mr. Trump to further strengthen Türkiye-U.S. relations, achieve our goal of increasing bilateral trade volume to $100 billion, and ensure peace and stability in our region," Erdoğan said.
