More than 600,000 videos found to have violated TikTok's community guidelines were removed from the platform in Azerbaijan during the first half of this year, Diana Ryan, TikTok's Director of Public Policy and Government Relations for Eastern Europe, said during the panel session titled "A Secure Information Environment on Digital Platforms: Modern Challenges and Essential Solutions" held as part of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, APA's correspondent dispatched to Shusha reports.
According to her, a total of 3.6 million videos were removed from TikTok in Azerbaijan last year for violating the platform's rules.
Ryan noted that TikTok makes extensive use of artificial intelligence in content moderation.
"Currently, more than 60% of moderated content is detected and assessed with the help of artificial intelligence technologies," she said.
