Romanian Senate delegation visits Khankendi

A delegation of the Romanian Senate visited Khankendi on July 13, the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in Khankendi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts told APA.

The delegation was led by Cristian-Augustin Niculescu Țâgârlaș, a senator representing Romania's Maramureș County and a member of the Romania-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group.

During the visit, the delegation met with Elchin Yusubov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Khankendi city and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts.

The guests were provided with detailed information on the large-scale restoration and reconstruction work being carried out in the territories liberated from occupation.

It was noted that major projects are being successfully implemented to build modern residential settlements in Khankendi, Aghdara and Khojaly, establish social infrastructure, and modernize road, energy, water supply and communication networks.
