Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan: Trade turnover between our countries increased by more than 70 percent in the five months of this year

Started from nonsimple point we could reach the level called strategic partnership. These relations are based on mutual respect, unconditional recognition of each otherâ€™s territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence,â€ Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said, APA reports.

At the press conference on June 12 â€“ Russia Day Vladimir Dorokhin said 2010 is characterized by the extension of the scale of the bilateral relations.
â€œWe expect the high-level meetings to be continued. Russia remains Azerbaijanâ€™s important economic partner in the non-oil sector. The trade turnover between our countries increased by more than 70 percent in the five months of this year. There is reason to hope that we will hit record high in trade this year,â€ he said.
