Main priorities of Polish Presidency of European Union Presidency made public

APA reports quoting Polish Prime Ministerâ€™s website that Prime Minister Donald Tusk showed the adoption of new members to the Union as the one of the main goals of the organization. Declaring the European integration and strengthening the security as the main targets, Poland at the same time wants Europe to be open to its neighbors. The role of the Polish Presidency will also be to ensure that Europe does not loose from sight its eastern neighbors. As a part of Eastern Partnership, Poland wants the process of signing association agreements and free trade areas to continue. The Polish Presidency will pursue moving forward the negotiations on visa liberalization. Poland hope that the key political decisions to this end will be made in September as part of the Eastern Partnership Summit, with the participation of all heads of state and of the governments of member and partner states.
