Azerbaijani President congratulates Movlud Chavushoglu on his appointment as a PACE President

Baku. APA. President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to Movlud Chavushoglu on the occasion of his appointment as a President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), APA reports citing the Press service of the President.

Conveying his congratulations to Movlud Chavushoglu on his appointment as a PACE President, Ilham Aliyev noted that close relationship and cooperation with EU is of great importance for Azerbaijan, therefore his country pursues the policy of expanding relations with all the EU structures.

The President underlined his assurances of commitment to attempts in further promoting of human rights and liberties, providing peace and security in the region.
