Three new road bridges are under construction at different road sections in the Garadagh district, APA-Economics reports.
All three bridges have been designed as single-span structures.
One of the bridges is being built at the 55th kilometer of the Baku–Alat–Gazakh–Georgia state border highway, in the Gobustan settlement. Construction has reached the final stage, and preparations are underway for laying the asphalt concrete pavement on the bridge.
Another bridge is being built at the 13th kilometer of the Sangachal–Cheyildagh highway. Piles have been driven for the construction of the supports, and preparations are being made for concreting the foundation.
The third bridge is under construction at the 2.2nd kilometer of the Lokbatan–Guzdak highway. Construction of the first abutment is currently underway, while the foundation of the second support has already been completed.
The bridges are being built in accordance with construction standards and regulations. Once commissioned, the new bridges will help ensure safer and more convenient traffic flow on these road sections.
