Three police officers were injured, one of them seriously, in an armed attack on employees of the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime (CBZC) in the Polish capital Warsaw, RMF FM radio station reports.
According to the report, a 29-year-old man attacked a police officer who was on his way to work near the building of the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime in Warsaw with brass knuckles and a machete. During the attack, the police officer sustained a head injury, while the attacker fled the scene.
Police later located the suspect near Kabaty metro station. During his detention, the 29-year-old resisted and injured two more police officers.
The attacker was detained. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
