Sergio Ramos has been left out of Spain’s squad for Euro 2020, APA reports.
The Real Madrid captain, 35, has endured an injury-plagued campaign and has started just 15 La Liga matches this season.
His omission is nevertheless a surprise, considering that he has made 180 appearances for the Spain national team, winning one World Cup and two European Championship titles.
It is the first time Ramos has not been named in a Spain squad for a major tournament since Euro 2004.
