More than 5,000 people took part in a nationwide demonstration in Amsterdam protesting the Dutch government's militarization policies, APA reports citing NOS television.
According to them, the protest, held under the slogan "Stop War Fever," was the first successful action of its kind. After a rally on Dam Square, a column of thousands of demonstrators marched through the center of Amsterdam to Museumplein.
