The Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan has commemorated the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty on September 27 – Remembrance Day, APA reports.
“On September 27 – Remembrance Day, we commemorate with deep respect, mercy and gratitude our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty,” the Embassy said in a social media post.
“We bow before the cherished memory of our martyrs and hold dear the brotherhood they entrusted to us. As Türkiye and Azerbaijan, we will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder in the spirit of ‘One nation, two states’ and build our common future together. May the souls of our martyrs rest in peace. Our condolences to the people of Azerbaijan,” the post said.
