Europa League draw: Fenerbahce's and Galatasaray's routes made clearer as play-off ties confirmed

After a thrilling evening of 18 live Europa League matches, eight sides including Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Rangers, booked their place in the round of 16, APA reports citing Sport Bible.

The final group stage games saw 12 teams eliminated from the competition, with the remaining 16 sides set to face each other in a two-legged play-off, with the winner facing one of the top eight sides from the group stage in the next round.

With the draw for the Europa League knockout phase now completed, the likes of Ajax, Roma and Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce have all had their fixtures confirmed.

The Europa League knockout phase draw took place at 12pm in Switzerland, determining which seeded and unseeded teams will be facing off in the next round.

Teams that finished between ninth and 16th in the standings were seeded and drawn against an unseeded team that finished between 17th and 24th in the table.
