Shahin Diniyev: How can I praise physical fitness of footballer who walks in the stadium after 60th minute of the match?

â€œ I would say that the national team will play not just two matches but will face hard trial. Both Portugal and Serbia have chances to compete in the final of the European championship. Both two teams will try to score maximum goals in Baku. We in our turn will try to show good game. Though our opponent are strong we hope to show good resultsâ€, Azerbaijan national team head coach Shahin Diniyev was quoted as saying.
â€œI want to express my concerns over the physical fitness of footballers. We have launched campaign and believe that this will effect their training positively. I just need to reveal gaps of our footballers. I am not going to interfere in the affairs of clubs. How can I praise physical fitness of footballer who walks in the stadium after 60th minute of the match? They may achieve success only in the national championship with such training. The head coach said the teamâ€™s success against Portugal and Serbia depends on whither the team will strike early goal in then matches
â€œMany things will depend on the course of the match. Undoubtedly both Portugal and Serbia teams will try not to make mistakes. If we strike early goal the match will end as we wish. I never accepted offensive or defensive methods of leading the match.
The main thing is to defend or attack as immediately as it is required. We should confess that we are not so strong to dictate our will. We had gaps in defence in the match aginst Tajikistan. I did not meet a footballer who could be useful for our team. In the same time there is no bad footballer I our teamâ€.
