“It was unexpected for me to loss my job. I know the club president for a long period. He said me the news by telephone. He said the decision was made in the higher circles- patrons of the clubâ€, ex vice president of the Olympic club Vagif Gasymov was quoted as saying. According to Gasymov a decision on him was made following his comments on Valentine Khodukin’s opinions. “Khodukin insulted our club. I responded him. When the club presidents became aware I explained the situation to Rasul Rasulov. We went to the meeting with Inter president Georgi Nikolov with other vice president Elshad Babayev. We took the tape reel with Khodukin’s speech too. Nikolov apologized to us for Khodukin’s speechâ€.
Vagif Gasymov said he does not intend to meet Rasul Rasulov. He explained why he had cool relations with Asgar Abdulayyev.
“I offered to hire Asgar Abdullayev as coach. Khodukin addressed his speech to Abdullayev too. I defended Abdullayev. I think I was fair. If Khodukin curses us we should not say him “thank youâ€. My response to Khodukin is mispresented. I took my things from the club’s office and do not intend to say good bye to Rasulov. I will find new jobâ€.
