AFFA invites Malta to friendly match

AFFA has sent an invitation to Maltaâ€™s Football Association for having friendly match on August 22, AFFA National Teams Department Chief Bahruz Asgarov told the APA-Sport Agency.
He said that they offered friendly match to Malta team composed of 21-aged.
â€œWe are searching rival for our Olympic team. We are ready to meet Maltese in Baku and in visit,â€ he said.
Asgarov said that their negotiations with Montenegro remained without reply. Lithuania, Macedonia and Jordan refused proposal of AFFA.
Malta rates 117 in the latest rating list. Azerbaijani and Maltese national teams have met three times till now. Our team lost those matches. Our footballers lost Maltese 0:5 on April 19, 1994, 0:3 on February 6, 2000, 0:1 on April 17, 2002. /APA-Sport/
