Shahin Diniyev intends to change party

â€œWe played against Poland well but unfortunately suffered a defeatâ€, stated Azerbaijan team head coach Shahin Diniyev, APA-Sport reports.
Diniyev showed the difference in physical preparation of the parties as a main reason of the defeat.
â€œThe rival is much stronger. Poland deserved the victory but we didnâ€™t deserve the defeat. The rival gained victory because it has qualified footballers who can use goal positions. We could have prevented them by closing the flanks. Nevertheless, I was satisfied with the footballers. They did what they can do bestâ€, he said.
Diniyev noted he didnâ€™t expect Vagif Javadov who was fielded after the break to show such unsatisfactory performance. Head coach added the team has psychological advantage before the visit match over Kazakhstan.
â€œWe lost to group leader while Kazakhstan was beaten by its equal rival Armenia. Thatâ€™s why I think we exceed Kazakhstan in psychological preparation. We will take advantage and try to score points. There will be some replacements in our party as wellâ€, he said.
Poland head coach Leo Beenhakker explained the reason of an early goal.
â€œWe blundered and the rival scored the goal. We could change the score in second half with much effort. Azeri team defended well and it made things more difficult. There is not much difference in Azeri team compared to that of in March. I think we deserved the victoryâ€, he said. /APA-Sport/
